INSTRUCTIONAL POSITION Position: Special Education Teacher Grades 7-12

Minimum Criteria:
  1. Hold a valid NYS teaching certificate in tenure area;
  2. Possess a thorough knowledge of field;
  3. Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and good judgment;
  4. Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize for effective teaching and learning;
  1. Understand the nature and needs of the age group served;
  2. Able to develop and maintain productive human relationships;
  3. Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.

Reports to: Building Principal

Contract: Terms and conditions of Professional Negotiations Agreement

Salary Range: $42,057 - $82,723
