More Than a Job
We’re hiring for a Tax Senior for our Marlton office. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
- Advanced technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting standards in researching, completing and reviewing technical areas.
- Addresses questions on technical accounting matters from team members and upper level client management
- Intermediate to Advanced level tax preparation skills
- Perform a detailed review of team’s workflow and monitor tasks to ensure they are assigned and completed on a timely basis
- Manage multiple assignments inside an engagement
- Communicate with Partner, Manager and/or Supervising Senior on work status and client issues that arise
- Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software (e.g. ProSystem Engagement, Tax, etc.)
- Participate in planning and execution of client engagement in collaboration with the Manager and/or Partner on the job
- Identify opportunities to leverage staff including designing staffing structure of engagement
- Ability to lead small to medium sized assignments with finalized document and report requiring minimal change upon review
- Train and mentor lower level staff
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of relevant work and industry experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and also work well with others
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced technical preparation and intermediate review skills in one of the industries our firm services; i.e. Real Estate, High Net Worth, Manufacturing & Distribution, Not-For-Profit… etc
- Experience with ProSystem Tax and ProSystem Engagement
- CPA License or on track to obtain
