The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an appearance attorney to cover a wide range of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related appearances. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and who is ready and willing to put in the work to succeed individually and to help us grow. The ideal candidate is aggressive, has effective communication skills, is highly motivated and hardworking. The right individual will be able to provide the quality of work that our clients have come to expect from our firm.

Responsibilities

• Appear on a wide range of default services court appearances including bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related matters
• Frequent client contact
• Management of numerous legal matters and assignments including but not limited to settlement negotiations and litigated matters

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Additional licenses are a bonus.
• Admission to or willingness to waive into corresponding district courts
• Positive energy and confidence
• Superior public speaking skills
• Ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficiently
• Excellent written, oral communication and research skills
• Appear on settlement conferences, status conferences and other dispositive motions/hearings.
• Prior lender-side default services experience is a plus but not required

Compensation/Benefits

Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience. We also offer a full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, and transportation reimbursement. We have monthly Happy Hours and host quarterly team building events.
