TEACH the music you LOVE. Help beginning through intermediate students learn their instrument of choice through pop, rock, classical and contemporary music. Teachers must read charts, tabs, treble clef notation, rhythmic notation, and help students with printed music theory books associated with your instrument.

INSTRUCTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Texas' #1 rated music school is currently seeking part-time employees to work as instructors at our Frisco location. Instructors provide personalized lessons for kids and teens in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Our clean, spacious lesson rooms are equipped with all necessary educational materials, as well as state-of-the art technology stations.

AFTER SCHOOL/EVENING/WEEKEND TEACHING

• Choose Your Days ... Open six days a week! PART-TIME: Weekday & Saturday schedule to fit your availability during these times:
• Monday – Thursday start time of 3pm or 4pm-9:00 pm, Friday start time of 3pm or 4pm-7:00 pm, Saturday 9:30am-1:30 pm.
• You can teach one or more days depending on availability (up to 6 days a week).

INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To deliver personalized, one-on-one private lessons
• To deliver encouraging beginner group lessons (if scheduled)
• To perform duties in accordance with company education and customer service standards
• To keep student progress records
• To prepare students for and participate in seasonal recitals and shows
• To participate in student achievement program

INSTRUCTOR EDUCATION

Be familiar with classical, pop/rock and contemporary repertoire through intermediate levels or higher.

Years of playing and performing experience, and fun personality to relate to students. Bachelor Degree or higher preferred, OR commensurate real-world experience.

Candidate should have skills through intermediate to advanced with teaching/performing experience.

Candidate must be able to pass a national background check
