Reporting to the Security Officer Supervisor as a Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing the premises by patrolling all entry on to property. Meanwhile, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees.


City: Lexington, NC, 27299 Contract Type: Full-time Job-Code: 3957 Department: Materials Management and Logistics


Schedule: 12-hour rotating swing shift, 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am


Starting Pay: $14.18 per hour plus $3 per hour shift premium.


Responsibilities

  • Upkeep a log back of all gate entry.
  • Prevent loss and/or damage by reporting irregularities and informing visitors and customers of policy and procedures.
  • Control all traffic in and out of the Security Gate.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Maintain EGGER stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Contribute to security team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven Security Guard experience.
  • The ability to think quickly and remain calm under pressure.
  • The ability to make judgement calls.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Must remain professional at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills.
    • The ability to remain focused while working individually.
