Shift: 1st
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30-18:00, No weekends or Holidays. on call rotation.
Job Summary:
Perform and document simple as well as complex automated and/or manual procedures and assays on blood and marrow products intended for infusion into patients for reconstitution or augmentation of the hematopoietic and/or immune systems. Perform and document release testing on cell products. Recognize, monitor and evaluate technical, instrumental or physical conditions or problems. Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies and clinical research protocols. Frequent interaction with multi-disciplinary team and external vendors. Rotate on-call responsibility for monitoring equipment alarms and off schedule processing. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- One year of Tissue Culture or Sterile Technique work experience is preferred.
- Experience in a GTP/GMP manufacturing setting is preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field is required.
