Job Summary :
A podiatry Nail Technician is an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. Under the supervision of a podiatrist or physician carries out and assists with routine nail and foot care for patients in an ambulatory medical clinic setting.
Main focus of job is toenail trimming and callus removal.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION :
A minimum of 6 months of routine foot and toenail care experience in a medical clinic or salon setting is required. Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION :
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a licensed nail technician or cosmetologist program is required.
