FB Society is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team! We’re looking for an individual well-versed in construction methodologies with strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
The Project Manager will participate in the conceptual development of construction projects with the VP of Development and all third-party consultants and will oversee the organization, scheduling, and implementation of projects to achieve the common goals of the team.
Essential functions
· Develop project schedules and lead team to effective execution
· Coordinate OPI’s (owner provided items) in the construction schedule
· Build relationships and maintain communication with all third-party vendors
· Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
· Accurately determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) with adherence to budget
· Manages expediting of all permits working with third-party vendors and internal associates
· Prepare bid documents, bid, and hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
· Provide leadership and effective communication to laborers, mechanics etc.
· Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for manager
· Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other workers in the same project
· Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
· Manage submittal process and maintain accurate and updated material delivery logs to ensure on-time delivery
· Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables
· Performs project closeout including final paperwork, job walkthrough and any other follow up items with restaurant operations teams
· Review and approve contractor pay applications based on contract language
· Evaluate change orders against owners’ contract and quantify charges

· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to communicate in English, Spanish is a bonus
· Extensive computer skills with high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Outlook & MS Teams
Physical demands
· Full time availability
Travel required
· The travel required for this position is approximately 50% and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (air, car, and train)
Required education and experience
· 7 years experience in Restaurant or hospitality construction project management or relevant industry
· Bachelor's degree In Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience or certifications
