GENERAL SUMMARY |
Under the direction of the VP Sales and Marketing, this position is responsible for Sales and Marketing programs designed to increase occupancy throughout the region, through training, coaching and evaluating sales team members and by overseeing the development of positive and lasting relationships within the local community & surrounding areas to promote sales referrals. This position is also responsible and accountable for the region meeting and exceeding the occupancy and revenue goals, supporting the professional development of community sales associates and providing pipeline management and sales execution for the region. |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
The job duties listed are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may also be considered essential functions of the position. 1. Successfully manages sales performance and productivity within the assigned region. Monitors occupancy results and trends and ensures execution of sales activities by team members. 2. Collaborates with marketing team on regional lead generation plans, ensuring coordination between communities to provide optimum results without duplication of resources. 3. Actively ensures effective onboarding of new sales hires by partnering with Training and Development, Human Resources, and Operations in the collaborative recruitment, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining of all sales positions within the region. 4. Oversees implementation of the marketing plan and budget for the region. Partners with the marketing team in the development and modification of near and long-range community marketing plans and budgets by analyzing competitor information, data and feedback. 5. Develops sales tactics that align to the marketing activities and achieve desired objectives. 6. Assesses local markets and competitive positioning within assigned region and makes pricing recommendations. 7. Reviews and analyzes sales reporting at least weekly to ensure accuracy and to identify performance improvement opportunities. Coaches sales team members of appropriate actions in response to performance issues. 8. Partners with on-site sales teams and Executive Directors in the execution of the sales and lead generation programs and strategies to achieve and maintain full occupancy. 9. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
