Front Range Oral Surgery invites you to become an integral part of our successful team.
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk / Insurance Coordinator to join our team. We are interviewing as early as this week as this position will be available immediately. We are a single doctor private practice that splits time between two locations (only 30 minutes apart) Our offices are located in Wheat Ridge and Frederick so traveling would be mandatory!!! We are looking to add someone that may have prior Dental Surgery experience. We are also willing to train the right candidate as long as they are hard working, reliable, responsible, and a team player. Hourly wage is competitive, based on experience with room to grow. Being bilingual (Spanish) would also be a plus. Most importantly, we are searching for someone who is prepared to provide our patients with the best care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
General Duties for our Front Desk/ Insurance Coordinator include:
- Manage patient check-in, verify and update patient information, and collect and record patient payments (if applicable)
- Organize new patient information (in advance) to ensure all required documents & x-rays/referrals are present for consult
- Manage and maintain appointment statuses ensuring that the proper office flow is tended to and that patients are seated timely
- Create new patient appointments. Collect all required information including but not limited to full demographics, dental insurance, reason for treatment, referring practice, etc.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to determine the daily schedule and optimize surgeon productivity
- Track and follow up on all cancelled or failed appointments to ensure the patient is re-scheduled
- Maintain HIPAA privacy laws by following guidelines accordingly when handling any private patient information
- Keep lobby & reception area in a clean and orderly fashion, close down front office daily
- Create clear and concise notes (every time) you come into contact with a patient in an effort to keep everyone on the same page
- Prepare and send correspondence to patients, referring practices as directed by the Surgeons/Clinical Supervisor
- Monitor company voicemail, fax, text log, and emails. Distribute messages accordingly and in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Previous dental experience would be a plus not required.
- Previous administrative experience would a plus but not required.
- Proven track record of growth or improvement within your position.
- Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
- Experienced with customer service techniques.
- Superior communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
