Responsibilities
Own and manage the quality of software products
Define, measure and manage quality metrics for products
Responsible for automated testing framework of the product
Work with Product Managers to understand requirements and plan the execution strategy of features in an Agile development environment
Hire and retain strong talent; interview and hire QA execution team
Actively motivate, coach, mentor, train, and provide leadership to QA Engineers by conducting regular meetings, periodic assessments and receiving feedback from the team
Capability to empathize with QA Engineers while challenging them to raise the bar of technical output
Work with development teams to assist defining CI/CD processes and frameworks
Understand and analyze existing product defect backlog and QA processes
Formulate QA best practices and QA automation plan to close identified quality gaps
Provide technical leadership to QA Test Engineers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Physics
Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred in one of the above fields
Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred
Strong experience in User Experience Development preferred
5 years’ working experience in a leadership role
Excellent written (documents, not slide-ware) and verbal communications skills
