What You'll Do:
Be the first point of contact for families seeking autism evaluations, providing exceptional customer service.
Coordinate appointments efficiently, ensuring timely access to care for children with suspected autism. Proactively minimize cancellations by rescheduling appointments when necessary and finding coverage for clinicians.
Collaborate with clinical staff to create a smooth scheduling experience for both families and providers.
Work closely with insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations and ensure coverage for evaluations.
Utilize your organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage scheduling systems.
Communicate effectively with families to understand their time off and rescheduling needs, offering alternative appointment options when possible.
Contribute to a team environment dedicated to providing high-quality care for children with autism.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field a plus.
2 years of experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with families, staff, and insurance providers.
Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
Proficiency in computer software, including scheduling and database management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
