  • Coach and guide clients through the loan process.
  • The best Loan Officers possess both excellent communication skills and mathematics skills.
  • The ability to be a “Hunter“ is a necessity in order to make this a lifelong career.
  • Through personal and company marketing efforts, generate and procure leads for clients who need a mortgage to either buy a home or refinance their home.

Skills Needed

  • Referral partners consist of real estate agents, professional organizations, financial planners, accountants, and more.
  • Computer and mobile device usage skills.
  • Understand the calculation of income and assets for clients.
  • Understand personal use of credit by clients.
  • Goal Setting ability is a must. Goals for monthly and annual production levels are needed.
  • Make oneself available at many different hours of the day and on weekends in order to help clients and real estate agents take care of their business when needed.
  • Possess excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to think clearly under high-pressure situations.
  • Complete all the necessary legwork upfront in order to guide clients through a real estate purchase transaction.
