Research Strategist

Overview:

Research Strategist (internally known as Senior User Researcher)

Frontline is looking to grow and scale our research practice within the broader UX team. We are actively looking for an individual with at least 3-6 years of experience working within a SAAS (Software as a Service) product development team. This is an opportunity to truly shape a practice that not only will lead our strategic approach as an organization but also build a customer-first culture internally by unifying our multiple disciplines to the most crucial factor in product design, our users. How about finding unfamiliar problems to solve as opposed to reacting to a constantly changing industry?

Qualifications

• You have 3-6 years of relevant applied experience with a degree or higher in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Social Science, or a related discipline
• Broad experience of qualitative research methods and recent experience in a research role
• You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research, independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with quantitative research methods, comfortable with metrics and A/B tests, and can synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research
• You are comfortable working cross-functionally with various product owners.
• You are an independent thinker, able to work autonomously, capable of taking on loosely defined problems and translating complex thinking into practical application for diverse audiences
• You are passionate about learning what makes people tick and have a profound sense of empathy when it comes to understanding and solving problems for our customer base.
• You can clearly communicate our user’s needs and provide a solid rationale for the value proposition.

• User Interviews, Field Studies / Ethnographic, Focus Groups, Task Analysis, Diary studies, Surveys, Usability Testing, Benchmark Study, Heuristic Evaluations, Competitive Analysis, A/B Testing, Behavioral Analytics Reporting
