Substitute Teacher K-12

Are you enthusiastic about education and motivating young learners? We're in search of committed and qualified individuals to join our team as Substitute Teachers across grades K-12. Our team comprises both current and retired educators who are passionate about assisting schools in fulfilling their substitute teaching requirements and beyond. Recently, we've broadened our client base, leading to some of our substitute teachers being offered full-time positions and even advancing to administrative roles in various schools.

As a substitute teacher, you'll play a crucial role in supporting student learning and fostering an interactive classroom atmosphere when the regular teacher is absent. This presents an outstanding opportunity to create a positive impact on students' lives and acquire valuable teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and pacing guide for the grade level and subject area.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and ensure student engagement.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Communicate with the absent teacher or designated school personnel to report any issues or concerns.
• Follow all school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (in education or a related field is preferred).
• Teaching experience in a K-12 setting is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to various classroom settings and instructional styles.
• Ability to substitute teach on an as-needed basis and be available for same-day assignments.
• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP)
• Current Substitute/Teaching Certificate from the Arizona Department of Education - or eligible to get one
