Who you are:
As an Insurance Placement Manager with Frost Insurance Agency, you are our evaluator. You will be responsible for evaluating the current insurance program and identifying viable insurance markets, prepare and complete submission information for prospective clients. You will market new and renewal commercial insurance accounts, regardless of size. You will use your desire for constant improvement to strategize with staff and identify the need to re-market selected accounts, viable markets available, account problems, and known competition.
What you’ll do:
- Perform follow-ups with companies for completion of the submission and underwriting process, highlighting unique characteristics of each risk.
- Acts as account executive as requested on selected accounts.
- Assists producers in developing and servicing of accounts.
- Negotiate any adjustments in the product, price, terms, commissions, or endorsements.
- Assist in the design and implementation of the renewal strategy.
- Act as the agency point of contact for communication and interaction with carrier partners.
- Stay up to date with changes in the industry.
- Provide technical support for the production and service staff, including researching coverage and market issues.
- Maintain the branch technical resource library.
- Oversees or completes other special projects as assigned by the Agency Manager.
- Ensures that internal controls are in place and functioning properly.
What You’ll Need
- 5-10 years experience in the insurance industry
- Texas General lines Agent License: Property and Casualty (P&C) or attainment within 90 days
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- Insurance professional designations such as Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
