About The Role:
You will become an integral piece of a dynamic IT Infrastructure Team supporting our organization’s data needs. In this role, you will be able to participate in the design and construction of a new Modern Data Platform implementation leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. The Data Engineer will work closely with the Sr. Data Engineer and the Business Intelligence team to support our growing business.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with external implementation agency and internal resources to build an enterprise data warehouse, analytics and data modeling framework
- Design, develop, document, and maintain various third-party data integrations
- Collaborate closely and support the data analytics team
- Design data structures, build ETL processes, perform checks and balances to ensure data accuracy
- Proactively identify reliability & data quality problems and drive triaging and remediation processes
- Work with other members of the IT team to develop a comprehensive data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plan
You’ll Need:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Microsoft Azure Slack
- Strong SQL query writing skillset
- Experience in the e-commerce industry is a big plus
- Experience with cloud data solutions (Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, etc..)
- Experience with analytics platforms (PowerBI or similar)
- Strong background in relational databases, ETL tools (Jitterbit or similar), scripting languages (Powershell or similar) and SQL
- Demonstrated ability to build processes that support data transformation, structures, accuracy checking, and workload management
- Understanding of statistical data modeling and supporting infrastructure
- Knowledge of OLAP Cubes is a plus
- Familiarity with database administration would be helpful
- Experience with MuleSoftt and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000
Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 10%
