Summary:
The Warehouse Team Lead will ensure daily work activities for the shift team are done efficiently and effectively in order to meet customer demands. The Lead will be responsible for directly training and assisting with day-to-day operations within the warehouse as well as monitor employees’ productivity and coordinate daily work activities. In this role, you may operate warehouse equipment which may include forklift and reach trucks. An important aspect of the Lead role is training employees on safety, processes, and workflow within the warehouse.
To ensure success as a Warehouse Team Lead, you should be able to utilize a Warehouse Management System. You will participate in assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines. You will communicate with co-workers to ensure a consistent team environment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.?You will provide feedback through side-by-side coaching and on-the-job training and comply with all FST Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. In this role, you will perform and assist with additional warehouse functions as needed and due to business need
Qualifications and Skillset:

- Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
- High School or equivalent education
- 1 year of experience in leadership or related experience
- 2 years’ experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and employees.
- Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations
- Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions
- Able to stand, walk, bend, push, reach and do repetitive motion for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a variety of temperatures (warm and cold)
- Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
