FTD is a thriving, growing and profitable company that has recently pivoted its boutique engineering services to much of the semiconductor market, to a product company positioning to benefit the broader industrial market with our expertise delivered via the software. The FTD software known as a suite of applications bundled under the name "Facility Management Application" (FMA) is currently in use by multiple Fortune 500 companies. It is continuously under development and many applications are yet to be imagined. We are making big impacts in the environmental sustainability of our clients and are looking to expand that impact. We hire creative, high-character, and flexible team members who are looking to make a difference, not just paint inside the lines.
Job Description
The Director of BD will be responsible for fueling our business into the future. This person must be strategic, relational, flexible and able to lead on many fronts. The Director of BD will engage new and existing FTD clients to drive BD, help to develop and drive BD strategy. Passion for building will be at a premium in this role, as we look to build on our already growing list of quality clients.
The Director of BD will report to the COO.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering (a relevant engineering degree and BD experience would be considered)
Master's degree in a business-related field would be advantageous.
Background in a technical field advantageous.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical and a business development position, combined.
