Finance Analyst - Defense
- Pull data together to assist in the analysis of the financial results at the end of each AP in accordance with regional and sector timelines.
- Assist in tracking and analysis of costs on Projects within Defence Services.
- Assist in research of variances between actual results and forecasted results in Defence Services.
- Support budgeting, Annual Target Setting, In-Year Forecasts and other forecasts as required based on guidance from the Program and Financial Controller.
- Research Costs postings to help program with analysis of the project costs, pulling data from SAP and other sources as needed.
- Reconcile accounts as needed.
- Assists with ad hoc projects to support the business in finance and/or cross-functional business process improvement teams.
- Prepares and Submits Invoice Requests to NAFSC for both US Government and Non-Government Customers.
- Supports other programs as needed.
Qualifications
Basic:
- Associate’s degree in Business or Finance and 4 years experience in Business or Finance, or
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance and 0-1 year of experience in Business or Finance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working as a business or financial analyst in a large corporation.
- Experience with SAP.
- 9 hours of accounting classes.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour
