Contracts Manager

Job Description The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Head of Legal- Americas and Senior Counsel of Land to better integrate legal with the commercial team for purposes of understanding project details and determining the most efficient manner to respond to requests for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and communicating ongoing contractual obligations. Job Responsibilities: Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. Draft, review and negotiate onshore EPC’s, MSA’s, subcontracts and other related construction contracts. Identify and assess project risks and minimize project exposure, as well as communicate such to Fugro’s internal legal and commercial teams. Ensure that Fugro’s standard contract policies are observed and communicate any deviations to those policies to the internal legal team. Manage document retention for all onshore contracts. Provide Support on project claims and litigation Manage project communications with the internal commercial team for ongoing contractual obligations throughout the duration of the project. Job Requirements: Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. Bachelors degree is required. Law degree or paralegal certificate is a plus. 8-10 years minimum experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing onshore EPC’s, MSA’s, subcontracts and other related construction contracts. A Contract Manager must be able to timely and effectively communicate contract terms and conditions and correlating risks to the internal legal and commercial teams in the company.
