The objective of the Facilities Technician is to perform work in the maintenance and repair of the restaurant equipment (KFC and Taco Bells) and make needed repairs to our facilities, provide responsible technical assistance to the managers in the restaurants, and to perform related work as required. As a Facilities Technician, you will assist in planning and scheduling of repair & maintenance activities, participate in the operation of preventive maintenance programs, respond to emergency situations as they arise, and maintain detailed records all while building relationships with our restaurant operations teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, coordinate and execute repairs as needed to our company equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
- Respond to requests for service, respond to emergency situations.
- Get estimates on all work and materials prior to scheduling job.
- Maintain records, inventory of parts.
- Assist with the operation of preventive maintenance programs designed to prolong the useful life of the equipment and facilities.
- Manage Freight Costs
- Inspect and review work of subcontractors.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for the Facilities Technician will possess:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Vocational/Trade school certification desired
- Valid driver's license; good driving record; company vehicle provided.
- Detail oriented with strong time management skills.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, vehicles.
- Must possess a strong desire to learn and develop the skills necessary for electrical troubleshooting, motor operation, plumbing, and basic carpentry (including drywall repair, painting, tile work)
- Willing to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends with a 50-hr work week average.
- Expectation to expand knowledge set through experience, training, and education.
- Must be able to move and/or lift items such as ladders, cable reels, tools, air tanks, test equipment and other objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate extreme fluctuations in temperature while performing essential functions.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
