Shift: 2nd Shift. Start Time: 1:00 PM
Pay: $19/HR
SUMMARY: Is in charge of assisting a production line, ensuring it works accordingly and maintains correct efficiency calculations. Reports to the Operator of that line and assist in making quality product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visually checks product coming out of the oven for uniform color, taste, clustered flaked and rejects
- Checks and records Density on each supersack * Checks and reports IQMS labels for each super sack produced
- Assist with dumping materials into buhler or mixer
- Assure that all full bins are kept covered © Alerts operator if product is out of spec
- Makes sure we do not have clurnping of product out of the PNS oven
- Calculates line run speed 4 times every shift © Make sure QA does their hourly Moisture, Color, Density check
- Keep the area clean at all times. Sweeping when waiting Make sure that his/lier production line work area is cleaned and stocked and that all trash has been dumped. All items are in place so that the next shift can continue
- Will assist in cleaning the ovens and production machines y Help clean super sacks © Transport plastic pallets to back of oven
- Ensures that all parameters are being produced correctly
- Understand what the Plant GMP are and abide by them everyday.
ABILITIES:
- Must have good mathematical skills - add, subtract, divide and multiply using a Calculator.
- Must be able to understand how Ovens, mixers, and Extruder machines work,
- Must be able to fill out reports to document the production for the day.
- Be able to communicate effectively with production Operators.
- Must be able to work weekend and overtime if necessary
EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS REQUIREMENT: Knowledge of Production machines, ERP systems
