Responsibilities:

• Implement program according to Title I regulations, company procedures and policies, and contract requirements.
• Diagnose academic needs and deliver small group reading and/or math instruction for eligible students.
• Develop lesson plans based on curriculum and informal assessment. 
• Establish and maintain student forms and electronic files.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times.
• Create a positive classroom environment which supports engaged student learning.
• Maintain regular communication with school personnel and classroom teachers.
• Provide periodic communication with parents/guardians regarding the students academic success.
• Be willing to adapt and become comfortable with online/virtual teaching if necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia teaching certificate required
• Teaching experience preferred

Physical Environment: 

• Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs  
• If virtual, professional/private home space is required 
• Non-public school setting (Elementary School, grades K-8)
