Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Provide direct support to individuals with various needs, including working with people with autism, dementia care, and assisting residents in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. - Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation. - Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care. - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any changes in condition or behavior. - Advocate for resident rights and promote independence and self-determination. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care. - Monitor vital signs and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate medical personnel. Qualifications: - Previous experience working with individuals with autism, dementia care, or in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations. - Knowledge of systems and procedures related to personal care services. - Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - High level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality. Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.27 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
