Job Title: Kitchen Purchasing Agent
Reports to: National Kitchen Purchasing Supervisor
Pay: $47K
Job Purpose: Support all aspects of Kitchen Purchasing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Kitchen has adequate inventory for Production needs.
- Maintain SAP up to date with accurate lead times, safety stock, and shelf life for all Raw Material.
- Sourcing Raw Material and Supplies by searching out different vendors.
- Obtain competitive pricing by seeking multiple quotes from different vendors.
- Consult with National Kitchen Purchasing Manager, Accounting Manager, Accounting Analyst, Cost Accountant, Kitchen Planning General Manager, Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills
- SAP Experience
- Knowledge of Kitchen Production
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and write) as this position will require communication to vendors and WCD team.
Education and/or Experience:
- Some college preferred
Computer Skills:
- Strong Excel (spreadsheets)
Reasoning Ability:
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
