What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner position at FullSteam?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Planner to join our team in Pomona, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in manufacturing or production planning.
Job Purpose:
Planner will responsible to determine how goods will be produced and how much materials will be
needed for the production This position directly reports to Plant Manager.
Schedule: Monday - Friday. 6 am - 2:30 pm

*Must have 6month to 2 years of proven experience*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to create BOM for new jobs and update IQMS data as needed.
- Schedules new orders on appropriate machine or assembly station.
- Creates daily schedule and holds daily production meetings.
- Informs Production personnel of new lot number requirements and specific order requirements.
- Coordinates outbound shipments of produced product.
- Train others when assigned.
- Fills in for the Shipping and receiving department when needed.
- Maintain inventory count in IQMS and do a cycle count on each job.
- Able to control scrap and process evaluation of each job as needed
- Perform any other assignments given by the General Manager
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Basic understanding of the English language.
- Ability to do basic math such as add, subtract, divide and multiply.
- Prior Injection Molding experience or planning experience needed.
- IQMS (Preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, stand, and walk for long period of time.
- Ability to move around an office environment and on the production floor.
- Ability to work at a computer workstation.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to talk, Listen, and speak clearly.
Training Provided:
- Safety Trainings.
- IQMS (maintain inventory count & cycle count on each job).
- Able to create production schedule and hold meetings.
- Customer requirements training.
- Able to create work order for maintenance job.
- Able to control scrap and process evaluation of each job.
