OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: The Manufacturing & Inventory Coordinator (MIC) is responsible for ensuring operational efficiencies and that manufacturing and inventory milestones and goals are met. The MIC will collaborate with other team members to identify and prioritize initiatives that optimize staffing and inventory capabilities. The MIC is responsible to develop and make visible all pertinent date related to customer satisfaction, efficiencies, and Roadmap goals. This position will carry out these responsibilities in a manner that is aligned with the Fulton values and operating philosophy.


ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Manage optimal inventory levels and physical locations resulting in efficient workflow, on time parts shipments and accurate cycle count results. 
  • Assist manufacturing leader to continuously improve and report labor efficiencies, GM’s, Parts outages, on time customer delivery and any other key performance indicators. 
  • Continuously improve all levels of inventory management including but not limited to: current pricing, reorder rules, inventory turns, outages, cycle counting, inventory reconciliations, accurate bin locations, BOM accuracy. 
  • Maintain efficient operating procedures. Audit process adherence and train as needed.  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience. 
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office 

DEMONSTRATED CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower extremities, and back muscles
  • Carrying – Extending hands and arms while carrying weight
  • Light Work- occasional exertion of 20 pounds or less. Moderate walking, standing and sitting.
  • Repetitive Motion – Substantial movement/motion of the wrists hands and or fingers.
  • Sitting – The body is supported by the buttocks and back and employee needs to remain seated for extended periods of time.
  • Vision (option 1) – close visual acuity to perform and activity such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, inspection involving small defects or welds, use and operation of machines, use of measurement devices, etc.
  • Vision (option2) – Visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal or operate mechanical or skilled trades
  • Walking- Moving about on foot to travel and accomplish tasks, including long distances or site to site.
