What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Image Editor position at Fun.com, Inc?
Description
The Multimedia team at Fun.com is looking for a Senior Image Editor to not only set the standard on how we handle and execute edits for our product photography, but to make what we do even better! We need someone to step in with high-level Photoshop skills along with insane attention to detail while maintaining the ability to crank out a high volume of studio and lifestyle image edits.
What kinds of edits? We’re talking wrinkle removal, color correction, resizing, image masking, making image composites that don’t have impossible proportions and extra limbs – unless that’s what we’re going for, and to create special effects on images as needed. Our current people only do lens flares and laser blasts. *pew pew* But least they know what’s most important!
By the way, when we said a high volume of edits, we meant it. We shoot a TON of costumes, accessories, shirts, outerwear, innerwear (Is that a thing? That doesn’t seem right), toys, and other stuff in the studio! In addition, we do on-location lifestyle shoots for certain products. As the Senior Image Editor your main responsibility is getting those photos ready for the web, product packaging and anywhere else they need to go.
As Senior Image Editor, you will also get to help analyze and prioritize our edit queue and delegate edits based on skill set to our Junior Image Editors while probably showing them a thing or two to help make everybody on the team better at what they do.
