GENERAL SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist will be a dynamic and results-driven individual, with attention to detail and the desire to improve and promote the company’s goals and objectives.  The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with other departments to create, plan, and execute marketing promotions with direction from the Senior Marketing Manager.


This is a hybrid role.  The Marketing Specialist will balance time between working from home and onsite at our FDI location in Sharpsville, Indiana.  


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

  • New product marketing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies for our range of products.
  • Trade show planning and coordination. Taking the lead in planning and coordinating the company’s participation in trade shows and industry events, including booth logistics, promotional materials, staffing, and post-event follow-up.
  • Assist in market analysis. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the building automation industry. 
  • Content creation. Create engaging and informative content, including product descriptions, sales collateral, website content, blog posts, and social media updates. 
  • Working with the Sr Marketing Manager to plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, digital advertising, and trade shows. 
  • Brand management. Maintain consistency across all marketing materials and communications, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives. 
  • Lead generation, drives lead generation efforts through targeted marketing campaigns, SEO optimization, and other tactics to support sales goals. 
  • Work with Sr. Manager of Marketing and Sales Ops Manager to monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to executive management. 
  • Provide support to the sales teams by developing sales enablement materials, including presentations, product guides, and FAQs, to assist in customer interactions and drive revenue generation. 
  • Relationship building, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and media contacts. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in marketing required, focus on product marketing or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of participating, developing, and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as Salesforce software, marketing automation software, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Passion for innovation and a desire to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Solid computer skills, including  Microsoft Office Products, web analytics, Google Adwords etc.
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to travel 10%.
