Seeking motivated and professional candidates interested in part-time/on call work in the funeral service industry.

Multi-location business serving Orange, Rockland, Sullivan and Ulster Counties currently hiring staff for per-diem (as-needed/as-available) funeral service assistant/pallbearer/transporter.. This is an ideal position for someone considering a career in the funeral industry or someone who has retired from a full time career and is looking for supplement income.

Requirements:

- 18 years of age and over

- must maintain a valid drivers license and provide own transportation to office location where a company vehicle will be provided for work duties

- HS diploma or GED

- must be able to interact with the general public

- must be able to work in minimally supervised positions, sometimes under time constraints, off hours, and emotional or stressful situations

- must be able to maintain confidentially including personal information observed during job duties

- must be able to lift over 100 pounds

- must be comfortable working in/around unpleasant sights, emotional individuals, various religious beliefs as well as public health officials and law enforcement

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
