The Licensing Coordinator will possess solid organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests. The individual in this role must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements in existing processes. A high level of integrity and discretion as well as professionalism in dealing with partners outside of the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the skills to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations which require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the complete picture, and efficiently and proactively solve problems.
The Licensing Coordinator will act as a seamless extension of the licensing team and will work closely with other groups in the organization (including sales, product development, finance and legal). They will provide support and engagement with licensors and project manage acquisition of new licensing contracts. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and a good sense of humor.
*This is a hourly position and only seeking coordinator level candidates at this time.
After a year, the ideal candidate will be ready to begin assisting with accounts under guidance from the Licensing Manager. This will include finding new partners, negotiating the contract process, and ultimately growing into a more meaningful owner of licensor relationships.
