Location: We are seeking a Crew Member for Funtown Splashtown
At Funtown USA, fun comes in all shapes and sizes. With 50 rides, slides and pools, there is fun for all ages. The huge selection of games, shops and family fun activities provides something for everyone. Splashtown USA, the water park located at Funtown is available for your refreshing pleasure and you will find the latest in water park technology.
Each year, Funtown Splashtown USA works to ensure the satisfaction of thousands of visitors, providing hours of fun, food, and excitement at our clean, well-maintained park. Because of our ability to please so many people, we've also become well known as an outstanding location for group, corporate, and family functions of all sizes.
Principal Function:
The Crew Member is an entry-level, general kitchen utility position, responsible for performing a variety of duties related to culinary operations, including preparation of hot and cold food items, preparation of and replenishment of dishes for buffet presentation, stocking of kitchen supplies and tasks related to the maintenance, cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas. Crew Members follow all Sodexo Live! culinary standards to ensure that food product is of the highest quality in taste and appearance to satisfy guests and maximize food revenues.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maximize Sodexo Live!'s revenue and operational excellence through implementation and oversight of systems and policies related to office and administrative operations.
- Ensure your tasks are completed quickly and effectively.
- Contribute to goal of making Sodexo Live! #1 in Event Hospitality and the #1 Employer of Choice through personal commitment and leading by example.
- Prepare ingredients to be used for daily menu offerings.
- Comply with all established health, sanitation and safety procedures.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and exercise appropriate judgment, and initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Ability to follow written and oral direction.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Culinary degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1 year experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
