What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member position at FURNITURE WAREHOUSE?
The Furniture Warehouse has 6 store locations along Florida's gulf coast and a corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL. Our 20,000 sq. ft. showrooms offer great pricing, and we do a lot of advertising with TV, newspapers, direct mail and social media.
We are currently looking for reliable and energetic full-time Warehouse Team Members for our MAIN warehouse. Come be part of the growing team!
Primary Responsibilities
- Unpack furniture and prepare for deliveries
- Assemble furniture
- Load furniture onto delivery truck
- Unload furniture from delivery truck
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
- Comply with all safety regulations established by company
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have a positive attitude
- Ability to move and lift heavy objects
- All applicants are subject to background checks
- Experience with assembling furniture is a plus
- Lift driving experience a plus
