Director of Business Development

Business Development & Client Acquisition:

• Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residential clients, interior design firms, builders, and contract furniture clients.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet and exceed sales targets and company objectives.

Relationship Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for key business partners, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the sales teams to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
• Build long-term partnerships with industry professionals to create sustainable growth opportunities.

Market Expansion:

• Proactively research and stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the Charlotte area.
• Work to increase market share through innovative strategies and targeted outreach initiatives.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the company's presence and visibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with internal teams, including Contract, Marketing, Trade Direct and Sales, to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
• Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to optimize product offerings and improve the customer experience.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Track and report on business development activities, sales pipeline, and progress against targets.
• Analyze market data to inform business strategies and identify areas of opportunity.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing.
