Milk Intake Operator – 2nd Shift
Local cheese maker in Shullsburg, WI is looking for an experienced Milk Intake Operator for their 2nd shift. The Milk Intake Operator will work a rotating shift. This position is a key component of the food production process. The Milk Intake Operator will control, test, and communicate all milk and whey flow throughout the plant to support plant production activities.
Hours: 2nd shift, Rotating hours
Pay: $20.22/hour

Milk Intake Operator Responsibilities:
- Control and communicate liquid flows with all plant departments and vendors as required
- Obtain required samples and test following standard procedures
- Maintain all plant equipment in a clean and sanitary condition
- Support all audits and inspections
- Read gauges and thermometers
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to visually screen color change test strips
- Operate computer controlled equipment
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous Intake Operator experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs
