Responsibilities:
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data, including invoices, receipts, and expenses, into the accounting system or spreadsheet.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, verifying and processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments and collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements and other financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Bookkeeping: Maintain and update general ledger entries, ensuring proper classification and documentation of financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate routine financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Budget Assistance: Support the accounting team in monitoring and tracking expenses against the budget.
Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
Tax Documentation: Assist in gathering and organizing tax-related documents and information for tax compliance and reporting.
Communication: Collaborate with other team members and departments to obtain necessary financial information and address accounting-related inquiries.
Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and relevant financial tools to carry out accounting tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent data entry and accuracy skills to ensure precise financial record-keeping.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and external parties professionally.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing accounting practices and software
