Responsibilities:
- Perform firewall configuration and management, including making changes on Palo Alto firewalls.
- Provide support for LAN technologies, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
- Deploy and maintain wireless networking solutions, with an understanding of Aruba technology preferred.
- Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to design and implement network solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
- Assist with new site builds, including network infrastructure setup and configuration.
- Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- CCNA certification or equivalent industry certification required.
- 3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of firewall management principles, with experience working with Palo Alto firewalls preferred.
- Proficiency in LAN technologies, including VLANs, routing protocols, and subnetting.
- Experience with wireless networking technologies, with knowledge of Aruba systems a plus.
- Solid understanding of Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel within the Greater Phoenix area as needed.
