Fuss & O'Neill Manufacturing Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health & Safety Professional to work as part of a team of EHS and manufacturing professionals. In this role you will work with clients to assess their Health & Safety program and training needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs to support client operational compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices while supporting program sustainability.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for their mitigation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters including but not limited to facility and site surveys, industrial hygiene investigations and air quality monitoring, development and facilitation of training and education.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into new projects, processes, and designs.
• Stay current on emerging health and safety trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a related field; advanced education may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Professional certification such as ASP, CSP, CHMM, or CIH preferred.
• Completion of OSHA 500 and 501 programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations and standards.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This position will reside in the Manchester, CT office, but your location is up to you!
