JOB SUMMARY
A laborer will work on commercial roofs. The laborers will work under various weather conditions. Laborers are expected to deliver high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail to our clients. They must follow proper construction practices, safety rules and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Have general knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Performs work in accordance with job specifications and safety
- Assist the crew foreperson on a daily basis
- Always ensuring safety policies are being followed and proper PPE is being used at worksites
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 1 year commercial roofing experience
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., lift, climb and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to wear required PPE
- Attend required safety meetings and trainings
- General knowledge of basic hand and power tools is required
- Ability to understand, follow instructions, and ask questions
- Quality conscious
- Works well independently as well as within a team environment
- Strong work ethic
