Job Summary:
As a Fund Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling entries related to investment partnership activity for family offices, private equity funds, and hedge funds. In this role, you will build expertise about the inner workings of the client’s investment activities, and ensure they are documented correctly in the accounting software. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize patterns and problem solve, and a sense of ownership for their work product.
Duties/Responsibilities:
You will utilize basic accounting concepts to perform reconciliations for cash activity, asset valuations, and financial statements while meeting strict client deadlines
As the front-line preparer for investment activity, you will become the client expert knowing how to interpret each brokerage and alternative investment statement, and knowing what is important to the client
You will learn accounting and performance metric analysis for all investment types including equities, bonds, derivatives, foreign currency, private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and valuables
You will support the client with year-end audit and tax preparation requests
Your ability to learn new software quickly will be paramount to your success in this role
This role is highly collaborative—You will be working extensively with our internal team as well as with the client and their team to ensure all transactions are understood and processed accordingly

Education and Experience:
4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
Working towards CPA preferred but not required
Internship experience preferred
Travel:
Less than 10% of the year
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,500.00 - $62,000.00 per year
