Role & Key Responsibilities

The North American Benefits & Payroll Analyst is an acting liaison for associates to utilize with any questions or concerns. This role is uniquely positioned to partner with several business units as an overall support structure for our employees. Duties and responsibilities carried include:

Benefits:


• Maintain and manage critical benefit system information.


• Align and manage wellness efforts with regional needs.


• Setup and manage ADP benefits plans and open enrollment process.


• Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.


• Provide benefits counsel to employees; conducting seminars as needed.


• Liaise with insurance brokers/benefit vendors on behalf of employees, as necessary.


• Reconcile ADP enrollment with vendor invoices, making necessary changes and facilitating timely payment to vendors and/or supplying information to Finance.


• Present benefits plan to new hires during orientation.

Compensation:


• Collaborate with leadership on employee incentive plans (commissions, bonus, etc.) to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and compliance.


• Conduct validations for all commission payout processes within the region.


• Execute weekly/biweekly payroll processes for region (backup role).

Personnel Administration:


• Manages regional system data by entering & updating employment and/or benefit data changes.


• Provide HRIS training to staff as needed.


• Liaise with IT Dept. to process data collection and HR reporting requirements as needed.

Compliance:


• Ensure all benefit plans are following state and federal statues.


• Conduct periodic audits including benefit plans, workers' compensation, and compensation processes.


• Responsible for maintaining related records for benefit plans, WC audit and audit results, etc.


• Develop/maintain SOPs and processes for all areas of Personnel Administration.


• NA FMLA and ADA coordinator managing all FMLA cases and ADA cases.


• NA background check coordinator.


• Coordinates and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.

Reporting:


• Prepare, define, and execute periodic reports for department requirements, governmental reporting, and annual audits as required.


• Reconcile all benefits enrollments in the HRIS with vendors records to ensure accurate eligibility information.


• Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charge.

Other:


• Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.


• Coordinates regional tuition reimbursement program.


Education and Work Experience

  • Associates degree in HR or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for education.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR and/or benefits administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • CEBS certification preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification credential preferred.


Technical & Professional Skills


• Strong knowledge related to data reporting and presentations.


• Background in Project Management highly beneficial.


• Comfortable with navigating ERP and Payroll Systems (SAP & ADP highly preferred).


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple activities based on need.


• Capable to communicate vertically in the organization.


• Ability to manage conflict to resolution.

Requirements


• Position will be onsite as an introductory period, 1-2 months. Opportunity for hybrid work following the introductory period.
