Overview
The Treasurer/Treasury Manager is responsible for analyzing, reporting and managing the company’s financial resources to mitigate risk while enabling growth and profitability. This position will work with the internal and external banking, investment and accounting partners to support the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Implement banking tool to track and manage global cash
Monitor, manage and report on global cash and debt positions to senior management
Prepare weekly, quarterly, and annual cash reports and cash flow projections
Maintain banking/financial relationships and optimize cash management processes and overall banking structure
Anticipate borrowing needs and available funds for investment
Develop an annual cash needs budget for the company and create long-term projections based on organizational needs and upcoming capital projects
Produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports regarding trends, variances, profitability, and performance measurement
Benchmark and track investment fees to the market rate
Provide analytical support for capital market and investment activities and strategies
Stay current on company's expansion plans, both within the US and internationally, to ensure appropriate treasury solutions are in place to support the company's plans
Develop cash flow improvement projects
Evaluate hedging strategy and instruments for foreign currency
Prepare a 401K offering analysis
Analyze and recommend investment strategy options
Analyze and communicate tax strategy recommendations working with tax accounting provider
Prepare business review of investment performance
Prepare credit rating material for any type of debt
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
7-10 years of experience in Treasury
Demonstrated Leadership qualities. Is Proactive, Accountable, Discerning, Innovative, Collaborative, Integrity Based, Successful, and Balanced.
Ability to work independently and foster teamwork in a fast paced environment
Strong ability to analyze, explain and present complex topics in a simple manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, & Power Point) required
