Ramp Supervisor at CLT Airport

G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Ramp Supervisor operations in Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Shift: Full Time Overnight 3rd Shift

The Ramp Supervisor is responsible for oversight of Airport Services as well as developing and maintaining positive client relations. Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS). Implement safety plan for station. Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary.

What does a Ramp Supervisor do?

• Oversee day-to-day activities of specific shift operation including employee group
• Maintain accuracy of timekeeping
• Manage work load
• Properly utilize company and client vehicles and equipment
• Report all discrepancies to the Account Manager and or General Manager.

What skills are required to Join the Team?

• Must have at least 1 year of supervisor experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Operations or Airline experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, data entry skills
• Flexibility, multitasking and experience working in a changing environment
• Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check
• Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.
• Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation

Language Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
• Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
