About The Role

Working under the leadership of the Director of Employee Experience, the Culture & Community Specialist  is instrumental in supporting key programs, projects, and partnerships that drive community, DEI initiatives, and impactful employee experiences  at G2. We are seeking a specialist who can contribute towards and assist in execution of the overall culture & community strategy across the business, partnering with leaders to help tailor the approach where needed. This position is hybrid, with a few days required working from our downtown Chicago headquarters each week.

In This Role, You Will: 

  • Serve as point of contact for the initiatives that will drive a culture of inclusion and community at G2:
    • Drive engagement and enhancement of G2 Together (G2’s global employee resource group and DEI network) - specifically working with ERG leads and the DEI team to enhance their alignment to our business and employee needs 
    • Support external and internal communications teams to embed DEI into our employer brand and help drive it forward 
    • Drive G2 Gives  (G2’s philanthropic and charitable network, inclusive of corporate giving, fundraising, and volunteer work) planning and activities internally 
    • Partner with EX team to update G2’s DEI strategy to deliver impact in high priority areas based on data and benchmarking
    • Act as a champion of G2 culture through G2’s various programs and initiatives; similarly, act as a point of contact for employees and leadership regarding all culture and community related initiatives  
  • Partner within Employee Success (ES)  to positively influence G2’s culture:
    • Support development, enhancement and execution of recognition and gifting programs to improve the employee experience and drive employee engagement
    • Execute planning and preparation of company and team employee engagement events and meetings
    • In support of People Operations and Employee Experience leads, use findings from quarterly eNPS and iNPS surveys to enhance G2’s culture, community, and DEI strategy 
    • Through support of community and culture forums, strategies, and partnerships, positively influence G2’s eNPS and iNPS scores 
    • Use internal communication mediums to ensure employee awareness, understanding, and participation in programs and process improvement
    • Connect like-minded G2 employees to one another and relevant programming to establish a sense of community
    • Support G2’s mentoring program by consistently reviewing feedback and making informed improvements 

Minimum Qualifications:
