What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager - Plant Level position at Gables Search Group?
Must have a progressive approach to industrial safety and environmental background within heavy manufacturing operations. This position will drive the strategic direction of the EHS program for the site, will build the EHS department and the role will report to the General Manager. Must have a Bachelor degree in related technical field (safety, environmental, science).
Key areas should include the ability to implement and roll out new initiatives with a metric driven approach utilizing key performance indicators. A strong manufacturing background required in industries such as aerospace, foundries, automotive, smelter, etc.
Technical excellence in areas of EHS management systems, workers compensation, general environmental compliance, operational safety with a metric driven approach.
