Responsibilities
Efficiently prepare and review estate, gift, fiduciary, corporate, pass-through entity, and individual tax returns.
Make informed decisions on tax matters, consulting with team members when needed.
Foster client relationships through in-person meetings, particularly during peak seasons.
Engage in local community events and networking activities.
Manage client projects, collaborating with attorneys to facilitate tax planning and consulting services.
Analyze estate planning documents and participate in special engagements related to tax accounting and research.
Work closely with team members, sharing expertise and contributing to process improvement.
Qualifications
Advanced technical skills in tax and accounting, coupled with strong management abilities.
Proficiency in trust taxation theory, fiduciary accounting, and relevant state tax laws.
Sound knowledge of corporate, pass-through entity, and individual taxation.
Minimum five years' experience in public accounting, with a track record of handling increasingly complex tax matters.
At least two years' experience representing clients before taxing authorities.
Prior experience supervising tax preparers.
Current CPA license and membership in good standing with the AICPA.
