Channel Marketing Manager (On-site in Pelham, AL)

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives as well as the day-to-day management of the marketing for the designed channel. This role is tasked with collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase revenue through effective marketing strategies to ultimately optimize sales in our retail channel. This position is also responsible for measuring and monitoring lead generation activities and delivering tools to aid in conversion rates for the retail sales team. This position will focus heavily on working with our retail channel.

What You Do

  • Develop comprehensive retail channel marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and target audience profiles.
  • Plan and execute retail channel-specific marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail channel partners, distributors, and resellers to drive mutual growth and achieve retail sales targets.
  • Help identify, develop, and maintain retail sales tools and resources.
  • Create compelling retail marketing collateral, retail sales tools, and resources tailored to the needs of different retail channel partners, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor retail marketing campaigns including digital, print, events, and promotions, to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the retail channel, providing insights to guide decision-making.
  • Ensure that all channel marketing activities comply with company policies, brand guidelines, and industry regulations, maintaining consistency and integrity across all touchpoints including working with the brand, digital, and category teams to keep the website current.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of retail channel marketing initiatives, track key performance metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders, offering recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Manage retail channel marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop training programs and resources to educate retail channel partners on product features, benefits, and selling techniques, empowering them to effectively promote and sell the company's offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, product management, and marketing communications to align channel marketing efforts with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Direct channel marketing manager experience (3-5 years preferred).
  • Experience in B2B channel, contract hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of various marketing channels and tactics, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, and promotions.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing activities and applications, including CRM; Knowledge of marketing automation platforms, and other relevant software tools is a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, and vendors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivator with excellent time management.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to measure and optimize marketing performance.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for partner meetings, industry events, and conferences, some overnight.
