Full Time / Evenings, alternating weekends (70 hours/pay period)
Provides pharmaceutical services to the medical center including but not limited to drug distribution, education, patient care activities, and personal knowledge that promotes quality and cost effective patient care.
Education REQUIRED: B.S in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
Experience REQUIRED: Hospital experience is not a requirement. Previous hospital experience and/or a residency/internship in a general hospital environment is preferred.
Licenses/Certificates REQUIRED: Alabama State Board of Pharmacy License, State of Alabama Controlled Substance Permit and Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Parenteral Pharmacist Permit. The Parenteral Pharmacist Permit must be obtained within 180days of the hire date if not available prior to accepting the position.
