Are you interested in learning a new trade that can reward journeyman wages within your first year? A career in Roofing is your path! GAF is hosting an absolutely FREE 1 week Roofing Academy in North Highlands, CA. This training will cover the residential roofing system focusing on the composition shingle application. This is the most common roof system for residential homes.

If you are interested in joining the roofing industry this is your chance. Roofing is a physically demanding trade, but that comes with the opportunity to earn journeyman wages within your first year of employment. The majority of construction trades accrue wage increases that are slowly incremental. Roofing is unique in the fact that you can typically paid per what your produce. Many Roofers income in the is in excess of 80,000 per year. Becoming a Roofer is not the only path you can take from this class. There are many more opportunities in Distribution, Sales, and Project Management to name a few. The skills you take from this training are an ideal platform to propel you for a career in the Roofing Industry.

All tools, and materials for this training are provided. There will be a light breakfast, and lunch ordered out as well. All beverages will be provided. You only need to come with a willingness to learn a new trade. The training is roughly 25% classroom, and 75% hands on. We will be installing the Residential Roof System on Mock-ups built on the ground.

Upon completion of the training you will receive a GAF Roofing Academy Certificate of Achievement. If you find employment in the Roofing Industry GAF will supplement a stipend check valued at $300.00 as well upon proof of employment.
